In September, we kicked off our season with Anne Goldberg, better known as "The Savvy Senior," a lifestyle consultant, writer, videographer and storyteller. In October, we brought you Deborah Shlian, MD, MBA, Author and her husband and partner, Joel, who discussed their book "Rabbit in the Moon", an international thriller set in the weeks leading up to the massacre in Tiananmen Square. In November, the Friends welcomed world-renowned, Dr. Mona Hanna-Attisha, MD, MPH, FAAP, a Pediatrician, Scientist, Activist and Author of "What the Eyes Don't See." Dr. Attisha is one of Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People in the World for her role in uncovering the Flint Water Crisis and leading recovery efforts. In January, we had two presentations by Florida's History Detective, Author, Speaker and Historian, Sally Ling. Sally presented documentaries she co-produced with WLRN, "Prohibition and the South Florida Connection" and "Boca Raton: The Secret Weapon That Won WWII."
