Randi Fishenfeld is an amazing musician who has played for all types of audiences. She has been playing the violin since the age of seven, playing both alone and in her band, The Wildfire Band. She has performed at various arenas, touring with well-known national artists such as Led Zeppelin. She uses her electric violin along with a laptop with a pre-recorded accompaniment to provide a very special performance.
When Randi came to the Boca Raton Public Library on October 13th, she played songs from various genres and styles, moving around the room and interacting with the audience the whole time. Between the songs, she spoke to the audience with good humor and amusement, giving the performance a much less informal tone, causing the audience to interact more with each other and Randi herself.
Her sold-out show at the Downtown Boca Public Library was full of movement and joy. The audience was very immersed in her performance, clapping along and cheering for each song. At the end of the performance, many people stayed behind to talk to Randi asking her questions and complimenting her performance. There were also people asking to take pictures with her as well. This performance was not Randi’s first time playing at the Boca Raton Public Library, courtesy of the Friends of the Boca Raton Public Library, and I am sure it will not be her last.
